For your convenience we have also provided gedcom files containing all the information you see here, and much more, including notes and sources for many individuals and marriages. Gedcoms are text files which use a standard format for the interchange of information between genealogy programs. A word about privacy. You will notice that personal information for living persons is ommited from this site, and from our Gedcom files. Their names are included, but not birthdates, etc.

And now a disclaimer. Although countless hours have been spent in painstaking research (at least it seems that way), we can't guarantee that all of the information is 100% accurate. Some information comes from published materials which may or may not be correct. Wherever possible we have tried to find birth, marriage and death certificates to corroborate such information, and referenced the documents in notes. If you don't see an exact date and a source mentioned, you can assume the information is unproven. Dates preceded by "abt" are guesses. In many cases no date has been entered because we didn't want to guess. Check the sources in the gedcom files. If there are none, then the genealogical information is probably based on someone's memory. If you have more than a passing interest in the information, download the gedcom file and use Personal Ancestral File, or some other good genealogy program which reads gedcom files.
