Me, David Muxo. I believe that by this time I had been transferred to the 1st Battalion, 14th Infantry because the 1/35th went home as part of Nixon's troop draw-down. I spent a lot more time on base while I was in the 1/14th. By now I was a short-timer, and especially during the last month I took patrols out made up of clerks and cooks. Now THAT was scary. |

Sergeant Richard Leonard from Rochester, New York. |

Sergeant Tony Higgins. I believe that he was previously a LRRP, long range patrol member. We suspected that he had been in Cambodia and North Vietnam. He couldn't talk about it. Thanks to John Livewell for remembering his name. |

John Livewell has identified the soldier on the right as Lt. Dennis Dotson, who was killed in action when the helicopter he was riding in crashed on June 5, 1970. Lt. Dotson was our platoon leader. |

Jim Owens has tentatively identified these three soldiers as, left to right, Lou Powell, Larry Butts, and perhaps last name Lilly. |
